Techwuman is always on the lookout for new STEM Ambassadors at different stages of their career or education be it undergraduates, postgraduates or fully qualified professionals.
The Techwuman STEM Ambassador programme is designed to train those from the STEM industry to ‘give back’ by being role models allowing them to share their career pathways and knowledge.
Techwuman delivers activity days to primary schools across the UK to promote STEM at grass-root level. These are bespoke activity days, which allow pupils the opportunity to meet our STEM Ambassadors who have a variety of different roles in STEM industries, are from different backgrounds and most importantly are of both genders.
These activity days provide opportunities for pupils to understand STEM concepts whilst having fun! The best way to promote STEM is by using real life STEM role models from the industry; the pupils can speak to our STEM Ambassadors and hear about different job roles, and realise that they don’t have to look or behave a certain way.
Did you know that over 70% of our ambassadors are female
