Techwuman have been shortlisted for ‘’Engineering Ambassador of the Year’’ award part of the British Engineering Excellence Awards 2020.
The British Engineering Excellence Awards celebrate the best of design engineering in the UK from 2019-2020. Clearly, this has been an unusual time and this ceremony reflects that. However, we have been determined all along to ensure that excellence was recognised regardless.
Rather than the much-missed physical ceremony, the Awards this year will be hosted live on the BEEAs website and later on the websites of Eureka! and New Electronics.
The winner of the Engineering Ambassador of the Year, will be announced on Monday 22nd March, at 11am GMT.
Paul Fanning, publishing director at MA Business, said: “The British Engineering Excellence Awards have been the benchmark for great British engineering design for more than a decade now. I’m delighted to say that – despite all the disruption we’ve seen – this year is no exception, with an exceptionally diverse and fascinating set of entries.
“As this year has been out of the ordinary to say the least, we will be doing some things differently, For instance, we will honour those engineers who have stepped up during this crisis in our Design Engineer of the Year category. In this way, we hope to celebrate everything that’s great in British engineering design.”
